What you'll be able to do

  • Work through every domain of the PL-900 blueprint, in the official weighting
  • Find your weak domains before the exam does — every session scores you by domain and unit
  • Handle all four question formats under time, including drag-and-drop and hotspot
  • Explain why an answer is right, not just which one it is — and check it against the official page

Judge the quality yourself

Sample question 1

A manufacturer's supervisors have described a warehouse inspection process to the development team three times, and each prototype has missed how the work is really done. Which business value of Power Apps most directly addresses this problem?

  • a.It removes the need for IT to be involved in departmental solutions
  • b.It guarantees that an app will run without change on iOS, Android, and Windows
  • c.It lets the people who understand the process help shape the app while building it✓ correct
  • d.It replaces the organization's existing line-of-business systems with one platform
Why C: (C) The central value is shortening the distance between the person who knows the work and the person building the tool. Because the design tools are low-code, process owners, supervisors, and frontline staff can help define screens, fields, and approval steps directly. They prototype and refine while the process is still fresh, rather than writing requirements and hoping the result matches. (A) is the common misreading: the partnership changes but does not disappear, since IT still supplies governance, security, data strategy, and complex integrations. (B) is true of Power Apps but is a portability fact, not the value that fixes a requirements-translation problem. (D) overstates the platform's purpose.
Sample question 2

Many Contact rows may belong to a single Account row. How does Dataverse implement that relationship?

  • a.By creating an intersect table that stores the pairings
  • b.By duplicating the Account row onto each related Contact row
  • c.By adding a Choice column to the Account table listing its contacts
  • d.By adding a lookup column on the Contact table that points to the Account✓ correct
Why D: (D) A one-to-many relationship is implemented with a lookup column on the related table — each Contact row carries a lookup pointing back to its Account. (A) is how many-to-many is implemented, which makes it the most attractive wrong answer; keep the two mechanisms apart. (B) describes duplicating data, which relationships exist to avoid. (C) misuses a Choice column, which holds a fixed list of options rather than references to rows.

Every explanation names why the right answer is right and what each wrong option actually refers to — that's the standard across all 157 questions. Try 16 of them free →

Chapter 1 · free excerpt

The Power Platform Proposition

Every organisation runs on processes that no packaged software was built for. Requests travel by email. Status lives in a spreadsheet somebody updates by hand. A field team carries paper nobody reads afterwards. Microsoft Power Platform exists for exactly that gap. This chapter answers the first question the exam asks: what is each product for, and what does it change for the business? Meet Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio here. Chapter 2 then opens up the shared data foundation they all stand on.

Start with the problem, not the products. Every organisation has work that its purchased systems never anticipated. A warehouse inspection. A purchase request. A signature collected on site. These get handled by whatever is to hand — an email chain, a shared spreadsheet, a paper checklist — because commissioning custom software for each one is slow and expensive. The work still happens. It just happens without a system.
Microsoft Power Platform is Microsoft's answer to that gap. Its central idea is low-code: building through visual designers, templates, and now natural-language description, instead of only through written code. That single idea changes who can build. A supervisor, an analyst, or a frontline employee can shape a solution directly, rather than describing it to a development team and waiting.

Mental model

Think of a commercial kitchen. For years, only trained chefs could produce anything, so every dish — however simple — queued behind them. Low-code is the moment the kitchen adds a well-designed prep station: the people who know exactly how they want their own order can assemble it themselves, safely, within the kitchen's rules. The chefs do not disappear. They stop spending their day on sandwiches and start doing the work only they can do. That is the trade Power Platform is offering an IT department.

Worked example

Worked example. A regional building-supplies firm handles damaged-delivery claims badly. A driver photographs the damage and emails it. A coordinator retypes the details into a spreadsheet. A manager approves by reply. The customer phones twice to ask where the claim is. Four products, four different parts of that mess. Power Apps gives the driver a phone app that captures the claim and the photo at the kerbside, in one pass, with no retyping. Power Automate routes it to the right manager, records the decision, and notifies everyone — so nothing waits on somebody remembering. Power Pages lets the customer sign in and watch the claim progress, which is what removes the phone calls. Copilot Studio puts an agent on that portal to answer "what happens next?" from the company's published policy, and to raise a follow-up ticket when the answer is not enough. Notice that no single product fixed it. Each removed a different kind of friction.

Excerpt ends here — the full chapter continues with the five workloads in depth, exam traps, and verified practice questions.

Who this is for

  • Anyone sitting PL-900 for the first time and wanting the blueprint covered, not sampled
  • Retakers who need to find the gap that cost them, rather than re-reading everything
  • People new to Microsoft cloud, from any background — the guide teaches, it doesn't just quiz
  • Anyone who wants to check an answer against the official documentation instead of trusting it

Who it isn't for

  • Anyone looking for the live exam's actual questions. We don't have them, and nobody should be selling them to you — using them puts your certification at risk and teaches you nothing.
  • Anyone who wants to pass without understanding the material. Every answer here comes with the reasoning and the source, which is slower than memorising and the entire point.

Questions people ask before buying

Are these PL-900 exam dumps?
No. Every question is original — built on the official exam blueprint and backed by free, public, official Microsoft documentation, with every answer linked to the exact official page behind it. We never use braindumps, leaked questions, or paywalled material. If you are looking for the live exam's actual questions, we do not have them, and we would not sell them.
How long do I have access?
12 months from purchase, including all content updates during that time — certification content changes, so we keep it current rather than promising a hollow 'lifetime'. PDFs you download during that period stay yours to keep.
Can I try before buying?
Yes — 16 questions from this bank are free with a free account, in the same player you would use after purchase. Full sample questions with their explanations are also printed on this page.
What kinds of questions are included?
The bank has 157 questions across all four formats: single answer, multi-select, drag-and-drop, hotspot.
What happens when Microsoft updates the PL-900 exam?
We re-check the bank against the new Skills Measured outline and update the questions that need it, then republish. Updates during your 12 months are included at no extra cost. We date our claim against Microsoft's published outline rather than simply saying the pack was "recently updated", so you can check the correspondence yourself.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, before you access what you bought. Because these are digital products delivered immediately, opening a paid question bank or downloading a purchased PDF ends the statutory 14-day withdrawal right — until you do, it is intact. We also refund genuine cases such as a technical failure we cannot fix. The full detail, including exactly what counts as access, is in our Refund Policy.
